March is upon us and we may not be serving up any green beer, but we are serving up head brewer, Mike Davis’ latest creation – ESB. Here’s the details on this tasty selection: It’s an American interpretation of an English Extra Special Bitter. The word “bitter” is not necessarily a taste description, but rather a style. The “extra special” typically means this version is hoppier and higher in alcohol than the every day Bitter. And ours is a copper colored, softly carbonated ale. American Pale barley, Carafoam malt and Crystal malts provide the malt backbone and fuller mouth feel. Hopped with Willamette and Cascade hops for balance and a nice clean finish. Are you thirsty now?!
The word has definitely gotten out! We are THE place to hold a party in the South Sound. We have it all: Excellent beers, an amazing taproom and view, 2 rooms to choose from, and lots of options to tailor your event into a memorable one. We’ve held wedding showers and weddings, baby showers, office parties and meetings, high school reunions, birthday and anniversary celebrations, hail and farewells, holiday parties. You name it – we’ve provided the perfect venue. And all of this at the cost of $100 Sunday through Thursday and $150 Friday and Saturday. We may not provide food, but the options for you are endless. You can order up from Boathouse 19 next door, order in pizza, cater your food, serve food trays from Costco, order in from Harbor Greens up the hill. The food options are unlimited!
