It May not be May yet, but it May as well be, we have so much news to share! Head brewer, Mike Davis, has been busy in the brewery and we have exciting beers coming on line in the next few weeks. Here’s the line up:
Monday, May 1st: First in line is our Blackberry Wheat – 200 pounds of blackberry puree in wheat beer. A 4.8 abv blend of foamy goodness! Come to the Gig Harbor Beer Festival or the taproom to give this one a try.
Tuesday, May 5th: Next in line is our new Diver Down IPA. Tasting notes are soon to follow, but Mike brewed this with the new Whole Foods Market in mind. We are one of a few select craft beers occupying their coveted shelf space.
Friday, May 8th: Next in line is One Hop Lemon Drop IPA. Come on down to the brewery and give this catchy one a try!
Tuesday, May 12th: We will have a taste off between our new GPO IPA 2.0 with it’s new yeast strain and our GPO IPA 1.0.. Come on down to the taproom to compare.
Friday, May 15th: Mike’s been getting very creative and we have some IPA CASK beer ready to try!
Friday, May 22: And last but not least, the release of our Belgian Blond.
And if all these flavors aren’t enough for you, we have a beer randall in the taproom now! What is this, you may ask? Well, this handy contraption has a filter that connects to the tap and allows you to run your favorite Narrows Brewing beer through a double chamber full of flavor enhancing ingredients! We’ll have it running every other Thursday when we’re not busting our brains for Trivia! Just imagine what you could come up with!
It’s that time of year again! The Gig Harbor Beer Festival is Saturday, May 9th from Noon to 5:00. Join the fun and the crowds at the Uptown Pavilion and have the opportunity to sample beers from around the area. Tickets are $30 for this Gig Harbor Kiwanis Foundation fundraiser. Each ticket gets you a 5 ounce taster cup, 8 taster tokens, and a program. We’ll be pouring our new Diver Down IPA and Blackberry Wheat. Lots to sample, lots to try, and lots of fun!
